Our Programs
TEAM-WORKS ACADEMY
TEAM-WORKS Academies provides in-school and after-school youth development programs that mentor a diverse group of urban students grades 3rd through 8th to succeed socially, academically, and in their overall well-being. Currently, TEAM-WORKS Foundation partners with HOPE worldwide to serve students at three different site locations in the Puget Sound Region: two in-school academies in the Highline School District and one after-school program at the Seattle Rotary Boys & Girls Club.
NATIVE AC2A WORKSHOPS
Native Ac2A Workshops help Native incoming freshman and sophomore students to successfully transition into high school and prepare for college. The TEAM-WORKS staff along with Native leaders and educators in the community prepare leadership classes, games, and activities designed to help students establish a positive Attitude, make a personal Commitment to school and community and set goals for Academic Achievement (AC2A).
SPORTS, LEADERSHIP & CULTURE CAMPS
TEAM-WORKS Sports, Leadership, & Culture Camps provide mentoring and sports development for American Indian and Alaska Natives students grades 1st through 12th by former professional and collegiate athletes. The Foundation partners with numerous Northwest tribal communities to plan and implement sport camps that embrace and celebrate their Native culture.
PROGRAM SUCCESSES
TEAM-WORKS programs have shown that youth participants gain increased knowledge of community and life values, problem-solving reasoning and social skills, academic performance and engagement, and reduced referrals for problem behavior at school. Read testimonials from TEAM-WORKS students, parents, staff and volunteers.
